Creative way to ask someone to homecoming?

i am planning on asking a girl tomorrow to go to homecoming. i really do not want to do the whole generic c**p of just asking her, i want to surprise her. any ideas?

do you know if this girl likes you romantically? That could affect how I'd handle it.  Also, what type of girl? shy...outgoing...flirty....

someone at our school had the school resource officer (cop) "arrest" her for stealing, i mean handcuffs and everything lol. and then he took her out too the parkinglot and the guy had a sign saying "you stole my heart" and somehting like, "your sentence is to go to homecoming with me"

it was really cool

and she said yes

I had a cookie made with " will you go to homecoming with me?" written on it in frosting for my date. It worked, she went with me.
