Creative way to include our pets in wedding celebrations.?

Question

Looking for some creative ways to include our pets into our wedding celebrations. It doesn't have to be just for the wedding. If you have any cute ideas for an engagement party, bridal shower, hen party, or stag party please share.

And the animals don't actually have to be there. In fact it might be better if they were not actually at the ceremony or the reception because we don't want anything to happen them

How about making a donation to your local Humane Society?  You could take a "group picture" and display it at your reception along with an explanation of the donation.

You could also fashion your table numbers using pictures of them.

Something like this:

I would try to get the hermit crabs into shells the colour of your wedding and use them as center pieces :-P

That is my only idea thus far.

Have the crabs in a basket surrounded by flowers and carried down by the bridesmaid, a picture of the cat can be used as a place mats for the tables.  If you want you can have all the pics of the animals on different things, you can have different pics of the animal on the table like a pic of the cat for one person and and pic of the newts for another, and that way it will be a bit more fun that just having one! Or you can have their pics in the flowers that the bride Carry's down or in general flowers around the venue!  hope this helps xx

How about a "family" picture? It could have a bridal theme or not and you could display it on an easel or table at the reception.

You could do a nice one or I think it would be funny to have a super cheesy one taken at wal-mart or something along those lines.

I'm at a loss for the newts and cat. But, I have idea for the crabs. Purchase hermit crab shells, paint them the colors of your wedding or whatever you like, and use them as centerpieces at your wedding! Guests will recognize the creative flair and you can save the hassle of toting hermit crabs to a wedding...:/ Also, you could put a small picture of your newts (:/) or cat at each table and put a number at the corner of the frame as place settings. Or when guests arrive and take a card that tells them where to sit, they could have little stamps that are shaped like newts, cats or crabs stamped in the corner. Good luck!

Take a picture of either them all together or seperatley & use them to decorate the box/basket that you will have at your reception for people who bring cards. Maybe arrange the crabs in the shape of a heart or something.

We have a little puppy who we would absolutely want to be apart of our day, but, the church & hall obviously do not allow dogs (plus, we wouldn't want to have to look after him the whole time). So, what we are doing is making our card box in the shape of a dog house & putting his picture on the front (like he's looking out)
