Creative ways to make a bunk bed more attractive???

I share a room with my older sister. She's 19 and I'm 14. We have a bunk bed. and I'm on the bottom. With the bed, holding her mattress, are a bunch of bars. So when I look up, I see these ugly bars. Are there any creative ways I can cover them up??

put some twinkle lights up there then hang some sheer fabric over the lights.

You could put a 4 poster bed netting canopy up.  Since you are on the bottom bunk you would have to cut some off, but it would still look nice and it would cover up the bars somewhat.  You might have to add additional netting to cover the bars up completely.
