Question:

Credit Card Captured and Debit still pending?

I recently ordered a pair of Dr Martens online. My father's debit card says it's still pending (even when he has enough money to pay for it), and on the DM's USA store it says "Payement Method: CREDITCARD CAPTURED." I was wondering, what does "CREDIT CARD CAPTURED" mean?

I'm just a bit worried because I need these shoes before I go on vacation, on July 12th (the others are worn down to the sole), especially since I payed $25 for it to get here in two days. :/

  1. The captured message, simply means that the information between the payee and payor is actively being transferred and that they have 'captured' the information. It can be pending for a while becase an authorization is taken at time of purchase but a charge may not actually occur until the product leaves the shipping doc or even at the border.
