Question:

Credit Card Companies???

Back in Feb 2007 I got behind on one of my CC's. My account became 90 days past due and I have now seen that this is on my credit report. Since then I have had impeccable payments, several times I have paid the balance in full and I was wondering if the companies ever remove this from the history? I know it gets deleted after several years but can the company go in and delete this past due history and have it show on your credit report?

Thanks!

  1. They can, but generally will not.  They are supposed to report accurately.  You can always try though by disputing it on your credit report.   ***
