Credit Card Purchases?

Today I tried to buy an album this morning and there was a problem with processing all 3 of my credit cards. I know my cards are good becuse i had to use the same card purchase the CD at twice the price. I'm a bit upset (the only expression I can use). Why did cards get an error 1. And what does this mean?

Call the numbers on the back of the credit cards to ask why the cards were denied. This is the quickest way to get the best explanation and you will then know what you have to do to correct the situation.

It could be the seller was having a computer problem.  I would call the CC companies, just to make sure.
