  1. Sure. Those who can't keep up their mortgage repayments, are facing crippling food costs and utility bills as well as bank problems are just total lightweights.

What a stupid question. You trying to get a reaction by any chance?

  2. some people are, fact is many people who were too poor were given massive credit which they can't repay.

  3. the fat cats are not making money so we are all in the boat.

  4. Definitely. People must take it as a challenge and not to point fingers.

  5. There seems to be some confusion between 'credit crunch' and rising prices.  There is a relationship but they are not the same thing.

You do not make clear from your question what you mean by 'slacking'.  Any meaning I know of for 'slacking' is unrelated to the availability of affordable credit.  If you have a real question, perhaps you could reword it.

  6. We have a credit crunch because stupid bankers in order to make more money lent money to people who couldn't afford to pay it back.  This has made credit short here in the UK.  There is less money available for lending to people who need it.  The rates have gone up with less chance of remortgaging.
