I have paid a debt before through a collection agency and it lowered my score. I need to pay a couple more but am afraid to as it will lower my score again. How can I prevent this from happening? i have heard of credit repair places that help raise your score but does anyone know of a truely legit company or had experiences with one and if this a good way to go or is there another way? Thank you!!!!

  1. check out this site, http://www.cellsware.info/restorecredit . i believe they would be able to help you boost your score by about 10 to 15 points a week!

  2. Сredit repair workеd fine for me. I used this service - http://creditreport.imess.net - They disputed and removed lots of bad items from my credit report.

  3. You don't need a credit repair place.

Before you give them the money, you get it in writing that they are going to remove negative information from your credit report.  I believe it was said more eloquently already but this is the simple way of saying it.

    Good luck.

  4. Don't pay anyone to repair your credit. You can do it yourself for free.

The reason your score is decreasing is because your old accounts are showing recent activity.

You need to negotiate a pay for deletion agreement with the collection agencies. That way they get paid and you get your credit fixed.

  5. Paying off a debt is never a bad thing. Your credit score can be improved by paying off debts in a timely manner.

The amount of your debt against the amount of available credit  is a key. Paying on time, another. If you need outside help contact

    www.nfcc.org

They can help you get in touch with legit credit counselors. Good Luck!
