  1. no because you need to use the giro slip to pay it into bank or other visa card number

  2. no it doesn't, you have to make your minimum payment cleared before the due date to stop incurring any late payment fees and such like

  3. Yes it does count as that month's payment, provided that it is equal to or greater than the "minimum payment" required for that month.  If not then you'll need to make an additional payment to bring you up to the full amount.

The credit card company just see it as a credit on your card; they don't care what the source of the payment is.

  4. If I understand correctly, your balance of purchases should show a credit of the purchase you had refunded to you.  Should appear on your next statement.

  5. no it does not count as a payment!!!!!!!!

no the credit card company would not accept it as that months payment!!!!!!!

what it means is this months amount to pay will be calculated on the new balance

e.g if your balance is £500 and you get a refund of say £100 you balance would now be £400 so  instead of calulating this months payment using the £500 they would use the £400

they only way you would not have to make a payment is if after the refund your balance was zero

  6. NO...

  7. it depends on the balance if that is all that is left on the card then yes. However if you have other funds on it no it is just credited back and you have to pay at least the minimum payment (which should decrease with the credit).

  8. Technically, the purchase would show on your statement, followed then by the refund. But the balance of the two transactions will be zero.

Eg, if you bought a top for £20, then returned it for £20. Then yes, the £20 refund counts a payment to your account therefore making a balance due of zero. (assuming no other transactions for simplicity)

To your edit : Sorry, no they wouldn't accept it as the month's payment.
