Credit card objections.?

Question

Ok, we are required to get credit applications at work.( Retail jewelry store ) we have a contest right know to see who can come up with the best answers with these 2 objections from customers.

1. I can't fill out the application because I'm buying a home.

2. I don't want my credit score lowered.

Can any one help me out with some answers to over come these objections????

Why do you need credit cards in a retail jewelry store?? I don't see any purpose for it. If you were a corporate employee and did business trips or made purchases OK. Just tell them NO. I am sure it's not a condition of employment. (and if it is, leave. Something sounds fishy to me.)
