im in need of 200$ cash asap, and my paycheck doesn't come until friday..my debit account is nearly empty, and i have a visa.. i know i can withdraw money from an atm, but i believe that interest is applied to it right away, so thats not a good idea..

how about using "cash back" at a convenience store when imake a purchase? is there immediate interest applied on that or will it count as a regular purchase? (i've done it before with my debit card..)

  1. Yes if you do the cash back at a convience store with your credit card it will do the same thing. Interest will be applied automatically.

  2. That may not work.   If it did it still would count as a cash advance.  The only exception is Using a Discover Card at Wal-mart (but call Discover to make sure).  Purchase an item,  tell the cashier you want cash back with your discover card before swiping it.

Most places including some bills take Visa or Mastercard for payment.  Plus some companies use speedpay.
