Credit card trouble?!!!?

i just turned 18 in april... i also just opened a bank account in late may.. ive been looking for credit cards for people with no credit... but have gotten NOTHING!!! it just always says insufficent credit history...ad lack of credit history...well how the h**l am i suppose to build credit!?! please help!!!

First question is do you have a job? and a regular income if not you will not be able to get a card as in you cannot show that you can make the payments

i first started with a student credit card through a store at the mall. You should go to capitalone.com and apply for a limited history credit card. it will start you at a 300 dollar limit. friends of mine tried discover but they rejected me. hope this helps!

you might try some small credit cards with retail stores or a gas card that uses credit.

To build credit, you can get a GreenDot MasterCard/Visa Card Student Credit Card.  It is a prepaid card that you pay 20.00  a month for 12 months and this is to build your credit.  You can add up to 500 dollars to it at any one time.

I just got my first credit card (not a major one) but Target gave me one. Funny thing is I never applied for one. I was just shopping with my debit card and they told me I was approved.. It's helped my credit out a but!

Yes. Due to low credit score people are turned down,

But there are Bad Credit Credit Cards for people having low credit score. And you can get apporved easily.
