Credit card w/HSBC hardship program, savings acct same bank, they can take my money from savings?

selling a home shortly and want to deposit money in hsbc on line savings, but can they take my money to pay credit card? it's on the hardship payment plan and wasn't their card to start with but have taken over the original cc company
