  1. They will stay on your credit report for approx. 7 or more years, but that doesn't even take, into account the harassment from the collection agencys, letters, threats, lawsuits or judgements, bad credit.  Is there anyway you can either make arrangements, talk to a debt consolidation company etc.?  If you can find away to resolve this now, you won't have to pay for this later in life.  Credit is very important.  Hope this helps.

  2. The credit remain on ur report till 7 yrs. Better contact the credit company and settle the amt with them. They will be happy to settle in very less somewhere 20- 30% of what you owe.

  3. They stay for 7 years after first delinquincy as everyone has mentioned. Check your state's statute of limitations. If this has passed, then they cant take you to court and for $600, they probably wont because you are too small a fish. If colectors are hounding you, make sure to tell them "cease and desist." Write them a letter stating you dont want to deal with them. Make sure the SOL has passed before writing this letter otherwise, they might get ticked and sue you to get the money. See the URL

  4. Derogatory items stay on your credit report for 7-1/2 years from the date of first deficiency. This per the FCRA and nothing restarts the clock.

The Statute of Limitations (SOL), the timeframe to bring lawsuit, varies from state to state and starts from the last activity or payment.  A payment, and in some cases, just acknowledging the debt, restarts the SOL.

Even if the reporting period and the SOL have passed.  Collectors can still try to collect.  They can hound you to the grave.

  5. It stays on your credit report for 7 years. But it will ruin you credit, so it would be better if you pay off. You can go for credit card bill consolidation. And you can go for debt settlement program.

A debt settlement plan mainly involves negotiations with the creditors to reach a reduced payoff balance on debts and that cuts total debt of an individual, sometimes over 50%, with lower monthly payments.

If you pay off that would help you to build you credit if not now but in future...

Here is the source of a debt consolidation company named http://ezconsolidation.com for your reference.

    Good luck...dude !!!
