Credit counceling and bankruptcy?

I've been reading up on the new bankruptcy laws in Texas; since I plan to file. apparently now, the debtor (me) is required to complete a credit counciling within 6 months of filing for banruptcy. Does anyone know what this means? Is it a class that lasts several m onths? or is it a one day thing? I have no idea. I guess it's not too hard to see why I am having to file for bankruptcy; i'm learning responsible credit use the hard way. Anyway, if anybody knows about these credit counciling courses, and what they consist of I really need info on it. Thanks.
