I have 10 collections on my report, It has been 7 years in 30 to 90 days. All will be removed in within the 90 days, my trans union score is a sad 530, what do you think it will jump to when all collections are removed, ballpark? Thank you for your time....

  1. FICO scores are just not about removing bad marks but also making good credit. Assuming all 10 entries are removed and you have been marking good credit over the last few years, you can expect your scores in the 700s. A score of 700 is usually possible if you have nothing derogatory on your report i.e. no late payments, no collections. Just 2 collections on your report will plunge your scores in the low 600s. One will have you in the high 600s. I had some negatives on my report 6 years ago, when they were all removed, my score went up to 730 and has been climbing since. If each and every collection is removed and there is 24 months of good current credit usage on your report, 700+ is where you will end up.

EDIT : One more thing. To get to 700+ your credit utilization should be no more than 30% of your available credit. If your cards are maxed out, your score will be in the 600s.
