Lets assume for the sake of example that I have a credit card balance of $600. Would it be better for my credit to pay it off over a period of time (lets say two to six months), or would it be better for me to pay it off all at once?

  1. Well...that basically depends on how much money you have on you, or if you will actually be able to pay the cash all at once. But if you can't, then you will use your credit cars! <Simple>

  2. If you can afford to pay it all at once you will get two benefits: 1. You will save money as you will pay no more interest (unless you have a 0% APR on that card). 2. Your credit score will be helped as your available credit will increase.
