Question:

Credit report problems, help?

I just tried to get my annual credit report from Annual Credit Report. com... I have used them every year for the past 3 years or so without any problems. Now they said they were unable to give me my report because of "may have a Security Freeze on your credit file, an Active Duty Military or Fraud Alert, or the identification information submitted online may not match the information on file".

Nothing has changed since last year, all my info is the same. I even tried a site where you pay for it, and still they said the same thing. What do I do? And what does this all mean? Anyone have a number I can call, of course you can't speak to a actual person at annualcreditreport.com!

  1. No, you'll have to request your free reports by mail. Provide them with copies of identifying information like your driver's license, SS#, etc. They'll send them to you in about 7-10 days.

My wife went through the same stuff earlier this year. She tried calling but it didn't work.
