Creed was, and is an awsome band. Why did they break up? When they broke up, why was Scott Stpp a jack ***?

I understand that Stapp tried to kick out Scott Phillops, because he thought that he drank too much. I also understand that he also tried to kick out the bass player, Brian Marsial, for some stupid reason. Stapp actually did most of the drinking and cause most of the h**l. He soon got a devorce, but after that he made his first solo album. What sucks is that Creeed made 3 albums in 10 years, and broke up, due to Scott's major issues. Why was he such a total jackass? That queestion still remains a mystery.

Stapp fired the band members, thinking that he could make it on his own,failed,

AFter the weathered cd came out thats when all h**l came out, they were a good band, but stapp wanted things done his way.

The former members of creed formed Alterbridge, which does the song for Adam Copeland[edge] of the wwe.

Alterbridge is currently in the studio for the next cd;and will be on tour soon.

i think you kind of answered your own question. stapp had some major issues before the band even formed, and having fame just intensified it all and made it worse. just because a person has issues doesn't give them just cause to inflict them upon others. it's no wonder the band broke up, nor is it any wonder why a person would not want to stay married to it all. i feel sorry for his son the most.
