  1. Cremation, after donating all usable organs to help with the shortage of available donors.

  2. I'm going to donate all my organs and tissues that can be donated to save other lives.  The rest of me gets donated to science for whatever use they can find for the remains of my corpse.  This is already clearly stated in my living will and is also in a statement carried in my wallet.

Why?  Because I don't need it, and other people can benefit from it.

  3. After I donate all my organs and tissues, I'm being cremated.

Why waste all that money on a coffin and take up space in the ground.

  4. I want to be frozen.

Because I hate fire and I do not want to be worm food.

  5. Donate all to science once any parts are used to help others live better.

  6. Who cares.

    You're dead.

    Like before you were born.

    Only on the other end.

    Scary.

    Isn't it?

  7. cremation.  can't see burying $20000.

  8. Coming from a Catholic family, burial is usually the chosen form of afterdeath.   Well, funny enough, my mom just passed away last month and she chose to be cremated.  At her 'Catholic' service, the quote of we were all ashes before life, and turn back to ashes.... doesn't that go literally with cremation.  I do not like the thought of my physical body deteriorating under ground.  My spirit / soul will always live on, and once my physical body is of no use ... it would never be a haven for anything - so I would like to be turned back to ash.

I do know the priest would have preferred mom's physical body to be at the church for the service, however; moms wishes won that battle : )

  9. I want cremation because when I leave this world I want no trace of me here.  I don't want people to remember me in a casket.  I want them to remember me alive.

  10. It makes no difference - both end up the same !

Your "soul" (you) ceases to exist when you die

  11. Burial so that my soul can go to the right place.

  12. Cremation.

    Why?

If the body is going to decompose anyway, hurry along the process.

  13. I'm being barbequed.  Why?  It's better than becoming worm food.

  14. first, i want to donate all of my organs that i can. then, donate whatever's left to science. if that's not possible, i want to be cremated. there's not enough room in this world to bury every dead person. we need to help our planet out by not overcrowding her, with living people and dead people. and then you can be buried everywhere technically, by scattering ashes; and you can become part of nature again. i think it's just a cooler concept, to return to ashes and be in the wind and the earth and everything, than to slowly rot in a box six feet under. also, it takes less materials to make an urn or a box than to make a coffin. what better way to leave the world than to help it out a little?

  15. I am donating my body to science. I won't need it anymore. It might as well do somebody some good.

  16. Neither, already signed my organ donor card

  17. Donating my body to science.

  18. Yes, one or the other, Why? Because I will be dead at that time.
