Hi. I am currently using the Crest Whitestrips Premium Plus and I've been using them for 3 days now, and all of a sudden my teeth began to ache really badly. Is this normal or what should i do? Also, when i take the strips off, a layer of my gums is missing almost like the strips are eating away my gums!!! Is this normal?!?!?!?! It isn't eating away alot of the gums, but enough so that i notice it. Anyways, im doing the strips when i wake up and when i go to bed.

P.S.....These whitestrips really work good. I recommend them.

  1. If it's wearing away your gums. . . you're headed for "gum recession" as an adult and a candidate for "soft tissue grafting"; I've had 3 grafts done myself!   It's NOT a pleasant experience.  SO STOP DOING WHAT YOU'RE DOING!

And your teeth are beginning to hurt because you're wearing away the enamel and dentin!  THAT'S NOT GOOD EITHER!  Eventually THAT will lead to your teeth needing capped!  AND THAT'S VERY EXPENSIVE.  You could be looking at future dental work in the neighborhood of about $35,000.00 for a full mouth restoration; and that may. . .or may not. . .include the price of "soft tissue grafting"!  If you think I'm kidding, let me assure you. . . . . .I'M NOT!

    Consider yourself informed now!

  2. o_o wow, this is dangerous, i suggest you go to the dentist. it might be an infection of some sort...

  3. Check if there is bleach. If there is bleach, that's probably why your gum is mussing. Use the regular ones. ;) If your teeth ache, go to your dentist immediately.
