Crested Buete Ski Trip to Colorado! What do I bring?

My eigth grade class is going on a Ski Trip to Crested Buete, Colorado. We're in Oklahoma. My BFF and I were wondering what to bring and stuff. Do I bring my labtom and camera and she bring her Walkman and Video Camera? And can you can service in Colorado from Oklahoma? I dunno. Thanks for the advice.

Great ski area!!!  But bring warm clothes. It's in a very cold valley. Bring sunscreen because you can burn easily at that elevation. Also make sure you have good ski equipment...no hand-me-downs. If you don't have good equipmnent, then rent it when you get there.

Bring a map so you know how to get there. Make sure they show Crested Butte in pictures, not letters, or maybe you'll never find it.

One change of clothes for everyday of the trip up to 3 sets, sunscreen, dancing shoes, swimsuit, warm jacket and water repellant both pants and jacket, warm gortex gloves and a hat, goggles and money.  Wear several thin layers of clothing rather than one thick layer. Also take a sweater, rent a helmet, skis and boots. The boots must fit tight around your foot and ankle.  It should not move in the boot, the padding is sponge and it will compress during the day.  Have fun.
