Crested gecko help please.

can they see the light from red bulbs? because at night I would like to be able to seee him walk around but I dont want to disturb his nocturnal activity by turning on the lights to see him. also how many times a day should I spray his tank.?

I think the red light would be fine and spray him once a day in the evening
