Crete family holiday?

have been at least 9 times when single in the 90`s now wany to take my 6 &7 year old to a friendly resort sandy beach not too windy , not too lively

greateful for any suggestions thinking of going end of august

is it still cheap or has it gone up in price since joining the euro

You should look into Maleme. Its situated outside of Platanias and not to far away from Chania. In Maleme you'll find nice and friendly beaches with no partying or clubbing to disturb you or your angels.

Then if you want to go shopping you're not that far away from the larger city of Chania or Platenias.

Can highly recommend the Petra Mare Hotel in Ierapetra with first Choice holidays, however may be a bit pricey in August
