Crew team at Rice University?

Question

I've been through the university's web site, googled it, but I don't see any current reference to a crew (rowing) team at Rice University. Am I missing something, or does Rice just not have one?

When I was there about 10 years ago, Rice had a coed club (not varsity) crew program.  Also during that time, the coach/advisor of the crew club retired.  It's possible that the club has folded in his absence, but it is still listed on the club sports list.

If you really want to get up at 5 AM 3 days a week for crew, call or email the student activities office at Rice and get an official answer!
