Crf150f ????????????

Question

ok i have 1, and i want to make it like , well better, but i dont know what to put on it to make it a good bike to race with, any ideas. oh and how much would this cost ...if i put a camshaft on it, howmuch would it be to have it installed?

If you just want to test the waters to see if you like MX racing then by all means try it out on what you have. If you think you want to get serious you will need another bike. The 150F just isn't an MX bike and there is really no way to make it one other than spending about $7000 at BBR Motosports. Honestly man I wouldn't put nay money into that bike other than maybe springs for the forks and shock. The fork springs are $79.95 and the shock spring is $89.95. This will not give you good suspension, it will be quite harsh, but at least it won't bottom out on the least little jump. Just try the sport out and if you like it get a used 85 or 125 depending on your age and height. Here is the link for BBR.

To make any motocross bike faster, the first and least costly add on is to gain 1 or 2 teeth on the back sprocket. This will gear the bike down adding grunt/torque, you can then ride in a higher gear on the track and your bike will gain instant "umphh". Suspension is also important. You can look up valuable information at www.factoryconnection.com. Aside from bike setup, good form and practice are the keys to going fast. Good luck and see you at the track.

i have a 07 honda 230,and what u should do is make air box mods,that can cost about $12,change suspension,change spark plug,and wire,get racing oil and i cant think of any thing else right now.

ok well im a girl and i race a crf 150f and it does pretty good, i mean my dad has set the suspension and all that and done some other modifications to it. um i dnt know how much it would cost you for the camshaft but i know 1 thing you will want to do is set your suspension before you go out on the track! something you could put on it is a racing exhaust but those things are bot 300 bucks!!!!  good luck and god bless

Hopping up the crf150 could be done, ut why not sell it and get a bigger bike that has more power......?????
