I am getting a new bike very soon and ive narrowed it down to those two bikes above. I currently do not race but could be possible in the future. Which is the best bike for just going to the desert and riding? Is the 150f still a good bike? The only reason i hesitate on the 150r is because its a tad big and i'd have to lower it. Do you think I'd be able to get it to the size of a tt-r 125? If so, I'll get the 150r

  1. It is very hard to compare those two bikes since they are nothing alike. If you have any intention of racing or doing any serious riding the 150F is not going to get the job done. It is a play bike, nothing more. It is a great play bike but has very bad suspension and is very heavy. If you can afford the 150R that is the way to go. You must be sitting on a 150R expert if it is taller than the 150F. The 150R seat height (14" rear wheel) is 32.8" and the 150F is 32.5" so there is basically no difference. The 150R expert with the 16' rear wheel however is 34.1".

  2. Crf150FFF

good for trial riding good for beginners, low maintainence, low speed.

    CRF150R

Excellent Bike!!!! Great for motocross, pretty good for trail riding. Verstitle power band. There is tons of ways to lower the seat height of a bike.

    1. soften the springs

    2.Shave the Seat

    3. Buy a lowering link

    TTR125

I had this bike when i first started riding. it was a great bike but it was extremely slow, unbalanced, and very heavy for it;s size. I imagine the CRF150F would be comparable

In my opinion i think the crf150r would fit you the best.

If you would like to motocross you could, trail riding no problem, race what the bike is made for. good bike affordable

  3. a ttr 125 is smaller than a 150r because it is a four stroke if i were you if you want to race get the 150r  but if you don't get a crf230f if you can ride a 150r than a 230 wouldn't be that hard but the tt-r 125 are nice because they are less maintenance but if you get the 150r there is alot more maintenance so if I were you i would go with the 230f

the crf150f and the crf150r are complete opposite bikes
