Crg maximo rotax go kart advise?

im looking at buying a crg maximo rotax 2005 go kart for $3000 (in australia), it seems to be in good condition, but i would like some advise on how to tell if the frame is bent, and if the price is fair, any advise appreciated. cheers

  1. i had a maximo with the rotax 125, very difficult to set up because the maximo is very soft, not rigid enough for the power of the rotax, shifted to a CRG puntogara, stiffer , perfect mate for the rotax 125, in my humble opinion the maximo is more suited for the less powerful Yamaha KT 100

    also the price seems a little steep for me, i live in the philippines where karts because we have to pay import taxes are generally more expensive than in Australia, we buy ourstuff from australia by the way from a shop called "REDLINE "

    a used rotax 125 would probably be 1000 australian dollars here and a used good chassis about the same

    i suggest you shop around first, plenty of stuff there...

    by the way , have you heard of the ROK engine, more powerful ans easier to maintain than the rotax
