Question:

Crib Question please help!?

My little boy is due any day now and he has a Graco Lauren Dropside Convertible Crib. The latches that holds the dropside up are broken so if you just lean on the rail it will fall! This won't be a problem while he's a newborn but when he gets older he can seriously hurt himself! Is there a manufactures site that I can go to and order additional latches? We thought about taking it back but we went through all the work of putting it together already which was a complete headache. If anyone has the site to buy additional latches for this crib please let me know. THANKS!!!

  1. there should be a number that you can call on the instructions give them a call and they should send you more at no cost seeing as they were broke to begin with. my sons crib has a change table with it and we had  a problem with the drawers that are in it i contacted them and they sent me new parts at no charge


  2. if the crib was new and have all this problem  would have taken it in a NY mn . but in case it wasnt new you could try what other s posters have said or just invest in a cheaper new crib.

  3. You'll be more worried about your kid when he's in it then all the work that went into the crib!! I'm not trying to be smart but if you can't find replacement parts you're gonna have to break it down again anyway. Why not just bring it back then risk getting more defective parts. I don't mean it offend I'm just OCD about things like that.

  5. call graco, they can send you replacement parts and usually you won;t have to pay for anything. go on there website and see if you can order them, if not i would take down the crib and return it, for a new one. i wouldn't risk it
