Cricket Australia - David and Michael Hussey feel for Simon Katich, Not given 2011-2012 Contract

David appreciated Katich’s performances, as he has always been up to the mark while playing cricket, "Simon has been a fantastic player not just for Australia but in domestic cricket as well”.
"He's a fantastic person and I know him really well. You do feel for him but I know good things happen to good people, and things will be better after cricket for him, you just know that”, the 33-year old, David added.
Earlier, Cricket Australia (CA) did not include Katich in the list of 25 contracted players for 2011-12 season.
CA’s decision has shocked many players in http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Australia-c746, as Katich was performing well for the Aussies team.

"I'm pretty disappointed for Kato, his contribution to the Australian team over the last few years has really been enormous so I'm very disappointed for him" Michael stated.
The 36-year old, middle order batsman has also claimed that Katich is fit enough to play for his country, as he was performing well.  
Michael thinks that CA is moving forward to include http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Young-c98322 players in the squad to starts its journey towards the new direction.
Meanwhile, David, who seems excited after getting contract from CA, has shown intentions to play for his country with passion and enthusiasm.
"I was surprised, but elated at the same time", David said.
According to him, he does not know about the future plans of the CA but he is http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Arthur-Percival-Day-c45927 after getting opportunity to be part of the Australian team for the next 12 months.
The right handed batsman said that he has always been hoping to play for his country, that’s why he is still playing.    
David, who started his ODI career in 2008 against http://www.senore.com/Cricket/West-Indies-c760 at Basseterre, also wants to get a test cap and for that purpose he showed commitment to strive at his best.
The 33-year old batsman has represented Australia in 34 One Day International (ODI) matches, and made 886 runs at an average of 32.81. He has been a superb option for the Aussie team in the Twenty20 format of the game, has played 28 matches, and scored 622
runs.
