Alex Blackwell has been retained as the stand-in skipper since the regular captain Jodie Fields is battling a hamstring injury.
The Aussie selectors have made two changes in the triumphant squad that regained Ashes recently at Bankstown Oval in Sydney. The 21-year-old pace bowler, Annie Maloney has been called in for Erin Osborne while experienced Clea Smith would replace 26-year-old
Victorian, Julie Hunter.

The 21-year-old fast bowler has so far picked 16 wickets for Victoria in one-day and Twenty20 format averaging below 13 in both forms of cricket.
Matthews further added that Clea’s experience of international cricket would be quite helpful for the side.
“Clea has been around Australian cricket for a while now and has played a quite bit of international cricket as well,” said Matthews. “She had a very good season so far for http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Victoria-c859 with 14 wickets at 13.64 in the Women’s Twenty20 competition and will add
some extra experience to the squad.”
When asked about regular captain’s injury, Matthews said that she is being monitored by Women's National Selection Panel and will most likely make a comeback ahead of the Quad Series in mid of 2011.
