Cricket http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Australia-c746 interested in hiring Allan Donald
Former South African pacer, Allan Donald, is being approached by Cricket Australia (CA) in order to hire him as the team’s bowling coach.
Donald was recruited by the Kiwi team ahead of the ICC World Cup 2011 and was credited for guiding the team to the semi-final stage of the event.
According to former Australian coach, John http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Buchanan-c48808, “I guess from Allan's point of view it's a nice position to be in with at least a couple of international organisations chasing his services.”
He further added, “From his point of view, it will be about sitting down with family and seeing what's on offer before he makes his decision. We're obviously pretty keen.”

Lanka and http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Bangladesh-c747.
The main concern for the Kiwi team was their bowlers, who were conceding too many runs and their board hired Donald’s services considering that.
He was not given a full time coaching role, but worked with the team as an assistant coach. However, his efforts with the team pulled out some positive results in the World Cup.
The performance of young Kiwi fast bowler, Tim Southee, improved to a great extent under the http://www.senore.com/Cricket/White-c96514 Lightening and he also gained some additional pace.
This really helped New Zealand in the World Cup, especially against http://www.senore.com/Cricket/South-Africa-c757 in the quarter-final.
Donald’s results have impressed the cricket authorities in Australia and they are hunting down the former pace ace of the Proteas. The Kangaroos have also struggled a lot in the recent past and have lost their dominance in International cricket.
One of the main reasons behind the poor performances by Australia in recent times has been their inconsistent bowling. The team has suffered a lot since the retirement of legendary spinner, Shane Warne, but the fast bowling department has also been below
par.
Donald’s appointment can prove to be a positive step for Australian cricket, but the final decision hasn’t been made yet.
