Cricket Australia, on Tuesday named its squad for the Under-19 Cricket World Cup, to be held in http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Queensland-c834 next month.
The 15-member squad also contains three players with senior state cricket experience, which include Kurtis Patterson, Travis Head and Cameron Bancroft.
The 19-year-old old Patterson who made his first-class debut with http://www.senore.com/Cricket/South-Australia-c844, while The 19-year-old
Bancroft has played three List A matches for http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Western-Australia-c865.
Cricket Australia's national talent manager, Greg Chappell said that they have picked a well balanced squad for the home tournament and hoped the players would live up to the hopes of selectors and fans.
"Overall, I think we've got a squad that's pretty well balanced with good batting depth, a variety of bowling options which includes good pace bowlers and a couple of excellent developing spinners," said http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Gregory-Stephen-Chappell-c60820 while speaking to media reporters
after announcing the squad.
Chappell admitted that it will be a tough challenge for the team; however, he expressed satisfaction over the preparations for the tournament.
"There is no doubt this is going to be huge challenge for our team but we've had some very good preparation and we'll continue that right up to the World Cup by playing http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Pakistan-c755 on the Gold Coast later this month," the national talent manager added

The latest edition of the U-19 World Cup gets underway on August 11, with Australia taking on traditional rivals http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Mitchell-c76390 Marsh-led them to the title

Cricket Australia selectors have not yet named a captain for the esteemed tournament however.
