Cricket News- Andrew Bichel likely to replace http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Allan-Anthony-Donald-c43680 as bowling coach of New Zealand
Former Australian fast bowler, Andrew Bichel, is likely to be announced as the new bowling coach of http://www.senore.com/Cricket/New-Zealand-c754’s cricket team very soon.
The previous bowling coach, Allan Donald, ditched the Black Caps when he was offered the same post for http://www.senore.com/Cricket/South-Africa-c757 recently. Donald was not under any contract with New Zealand Cricket (NZC) but he had verbally committed with them that he was going to stay
with the Kiwi side.
Bichel was also the bowling coach of Chennai Super Kings in the fourth edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL 4) and he helped the franchise defend the title.
Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of New Zealand Cricket, http://www.senore.com/Cricket/John-Marshall-Buchanan-c68302, has said that his priority is the former Aussie fast bowler but they are still not sure about his availability. He added that NZC has some other names in mind as well and Buchanan also
wants to take the opinion of http://www.senore.com/Cricket/John-Geoffrey-Wright-c67883, who is the head-coach of the Black Caps.
Buchanan said, "At this stage it might be difficult to make it work around his other commitments but he still has an interest. I am looking at 4-5 candidates, many of whom also have other commitments and I need to discuss the best way forward further with
John [Wright]".
Bichel and Buchanan have a very http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Queensland-c834 under the coaching of the current CEO of NZC.
The former fast bowler said that he is trying to devise a plan with http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Buchanan-c48808 but he is just a little hesitant because the former fast bowler wants to spend more time with his family, which has not been the case in recent past.
"I'm working through it with John [Buchanan].  At this stage touring with the Black Caps would mean a lot of time away from home when I'm already away three months with the IPL", said Bichel.
Bichel has a vast experience of international cricket which could prove to be handy for NZC as he has the ability to transform his knowledge to the http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Young-c98322 bowlers, which he proved in IPL 4.
