Gibson, who is currently engaged with his tourist squad in http://www.senore.com/Cricket/India-c750 said that he was not aware of Tendulkar being on the verge of a milestone but believes that the current hype would make the whole affair a tough challenge for the country’s batting legend.
“I was not aware of the milestone and haven't thought much about it. But I feel if there is too much hype, it would be tough for Tendulkar. But Tendulkar is a legend and he would get it anyways any time soon,” said Gibson.
Former English Skipper, Ian Botham, believes that corruption still exists in cricket,
citing the claim in the recent wake of the spot fixing alleged trio (Asif-Amir-Salman) who have been sentenced behind bars.
Botham also said that justice being served to the trio, the International Cricket Council (ICC) much get its act right and keep a close watch on any future offenders of the game.
“They are the police of the game and, from my point of view, have done very little. As for now, Gibson is confident that Bishoo will come out with another strong performance against the Men in Blue, who will step into 3-Test series with the West Indian visitors, set to kick off on Sunday, November 6, 2011.
