The International Cricket Council (http://www.senore.com/Cricket/ICC-World-Cup-2011-c100625) is planning to send a World XI to Pakistan in order to resume cricket in the troubled country.
There has been no international cricket in Pakistan since the attack on Sri Lanka’s team in Lahore back in 2009. The Men in Green have been hosting other countries on neutral venues, preferably http://www.senore.com/Cricket/United-Arab-Emirates-c3033 (UAE).

Former Pakistan skipper Wasim Akram slammed the Indian pacers http://www.senore.com/Cricket/S-Sreesanth-c2398 for a poor display against England in seaming conditions. The former bowled a terrible first over in the Oval Test on Thursday, August 18. His first five
deliveries were way outside leg-stump.
Apart from Akram, former http://www.senore.com/Cricket/England-c56013 great Ian Botham also criticised Singh’s over. The legendary all-rounder rated the over as the worst in Test match history.
Former Pakistan captain http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Asif-Iqbal-c46477 has called for a special welcome for the Sri Lankan team in UAE
where Pakistan will hosts three Tests and five ODIs against them.
The Sri Lankan team was the last to tour http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Pakistan-c755 for a complete series, but had a terrible experience, as they were attacked by terrorists in Lahore.
Luckily, there were no serious injuries to any player, but this saw an end to international cricket in Pakistan.
Australia’s captain http://www.senore.com/Cricket/MJ-Clarke-c1978 has asked his team-mates to focus fully on cricket
rather than the results of the report on the Ashes review. The team will be up against http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Sri-Lanka-c758 in the fourth ODI of the five-match series in Colombo.
The Kangaroos are currently leading the series by 2-1 and will look to grab the series by winning the upcoming encounter.
