According to sources, Amir is now free to depart for Pakistan; however, his visa will not expire till the end of March this year, which means that he can stay in England for now if he wishes to.
It has been revealed that Amir is planning to hold meetings with his lawyers to file an appeal against his five-year ban from cricket in the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS).
Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), till the filing of this report, had not issued any statement regarding the release of the left-arm pacer.
