Cricket South Africa reacts to Herschelle Gibbs’ book
Herschelle Gibbs new autobiography has ensured the South Africa cricket team has been grabbing headlines for all the wrong reasons with the 36-year-old reportedly accusing Proteas' skipper Graeme Smith of having too great an influence over the side.
Gibbs’ explosive memoir, To The Point, has reportedly made claims of a clique within the South Africa team while http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Mickey-Arthur-c1969 was coaching the Proteas.

Arthur has since reportedly described Gibbs being a “loner” and said that the batsman was in and out of the side in recent times and wasn’t privy to the private conversations between captain and coach.

Cricket South Africa have today released a statement regarding the publication of Gibbs’ book in which CSA CEO Gerald Majola said, “I have not read the book and cannot comment on what is reported in the press. CSA has tasked its Legal Counsel to look into the matter and to advise us accordingly. Everybody concerned (including players) needs to wait for the outcome of CSA's processes which will be announced as soon as the Board has taken a view or a decision on the matter.”
The statement went on to say that CSA will not be making any further comment until such processes have been completed.
