The Cricket South Africa shall now be on the go considering the services of foreign coach. It was said this day that they shall be looking “far and wide” for the replacement of Corrie van Zyl, who is set to step down after the
World Cup just around the corner.
The chief executive Gerald Majola said talking to the press, "CSA is casting its net far and wide to find the right person to replace caretaker Proteas’ coach Corrie van Zyl and take the team to even higher levels of performance."
Van Zyl will be leading his role as prior, at the federation’s high performance academy. He had stepped up for the post at a short notice after last season when http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Mickey-Arthur-c1969 gave away his resignation as the national coach.
Van Zyl will be on the panel to select the new coach under the selection convener Andrew Hudson. Proteas seems to have the right balance and skill to take them to the top level and keep them there.
The new South African coach will be appointed on a contract aging two-years covering the ICC World Twenty20 in http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Australia-c746 and their tour
of England also. The CSA is welcoming the applications with the dead-line by 7th January 2011.
For now, Van Zyl would continue his high esteemed services for the upcoming challenge at the home soil and five-match ODI series against India and then also aiming high at the World Cup for http://www.senore.com/Cricket/South-Africa-c757 starting February 2011.
His career performance governs the series with http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Pakistan-c755 this year, that they were able to draw and took a 1-0 home series lead over the current top-ranked
India in their current test-series. South Africa, under Van Zyl, has also the privilege to have won three of their last four ODI series.
