Over the last 50 years, http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Usa-c759 invasion in the country, the only plus point which has come in front is the institution building whether it is a educational set up or for that matter a cricket federation, such social functioning bodies are present in the country now.
In recent past, the Afghani cricket team has reasonably done an outstanding job in all three cricketing departments, whether it was bowling, batting or fielding. In light of the first class matches arranged by the International Cricket Council (ICC), Afghanistan is developing into a fine international cricket team.
Cricketing nations such as Afghanistan, http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Zimbabwe-c3045 XI, also known as associate teams, have played a lot of first class and international matches among each other arranged by the ICC. The Council has come up with event such as the Intercontinental Cup, so that these associate countries can play a four-day test match, which allows them to mark a position in the ICC full member test teams. The 4-day test match is considered to be the perfect platform for these countries to enhance their cricketing capabilities and most importantly develop a test cricket team.
Due to the ICC Events Technical Committee and Executive Committee, the associate teams were told that they might not be part of the 2011 ICC World Cup. However, since the real development of cricket takes place with the advent and practise of test cricket, the associate teams weren’t really happy with ICC’s decision. However, the ICC re-assured them by informing no final verdict or decision has been taken as to how the 10 teams for the 50-over World Cup 2011 will be finalised.
Nevertheless, Afghanistan might be the only associate team which hasn’t let the non-inclusion decision in the 50-over tournament bother or interfere with their cricket. To their advantage, the country has played some outstanding cricket in recent past. To the extent that in their first major first class tournament of Intercontinental Cup 2009-10, finalist are the Afghani team.

Based on their performances since then, the team has been given the ODI status till 2013. However, the team failed to qualify for the 2011 World Cup. Nevertheless, the team will participate in the 2010 ICC T20 World Cup.
Preparing a list of the top bowlers and batsmen in a systematic order was one of the hardest things to do, as an infant careered cricketing country such as Afghanistan hasn’t played the right amount of cricket in any format of the game to be judged at.
