Cricket Special Report: History and Structure of Australian Domestic Cricket (Part 1)
Australian national cricket team has dominated the international cricketing world throughout its cricketing year by some of the best dazzling and dashing performances both with the bat and ball. Besides the batting and bowling power-play, the international
cricketing giant nation has added an exceptional amount of value in the quality in the fielding department.
The Aussies are among the few cricketing nations which have effectively raised the stakes in the fielding department. Nowadays, one can see the evadible improvements in the fielding display with extreme levels of effectiveness, especially, in terms of good,
healthy and match-winning incorporation of fielding capabilities in the inner and outer circles. Most importantly, the superb fielding in the slip cauldron has kept several world class batsmen, as there are hardly any mishaps by this cricketing giant nation.

Another reason for their immense success in the international arena is the inclusion of professionalism in all three international cricketing formats known to the world arena. Keeping in mind, that fielding in all the formats requires different levels of
incorporation of temperament and concentration. In the 20-over game batsmen and bowlers don’t get time to settle themselves, and the fielders have several opportunities to take catches or shy at the stumps.
However, just like batting and bowling, fielding also requires longer hours of cricketing temperament, patience, understanding and knowledge of the game to be successful and useful. Not to forget, that even one of the best naturally talented cricketers,
if they lack with the right amount of all the above mentioned attributes to cricketing success, cannot be useful at all, in fact they normally turn out to be among the several costly expenses in the team.
One might advocate the fact that cricket is all about natural talent, which in simple words mean, the perfection in the hand and eye co-ordination. The inclusion of professionalism in the sport of cricket can only be ensured by an institutionalised way of
developing the sport of cricket and its players, who are formally known as cricketers. The induction of these attributes can be brought into functional conditions with organisational planning based on mutual consensus.
The concept of taking cricket as a profession has done wonders for some of the best cricketing nations known to the world cricket at present. Professionalism allows one national team to focus on its strengths and weaknesses. Bringing professionalism into
the game ensures the ability to adapt to any cricketing situation and condition at hand. Not to mention, the most important effect from the induction of the mental grooming and cricketing sense, this eventually develops through the advent of this phenomenal
concept.
Every successful national team in the world arena has several reasons for its amazing run in world cricket. These reasons can conclude the actual cricketing natural talent possessed by the cricketer himself, the taming of talent, putting cricketing resources
to good use such as grounds, infrastructure and many other attributes are required to come up with a world-class successful cricket team. All these attributes are provided by the domestic structure or set-up of the country at point.
