Cricket Update: Ashes 2010- Australian Captain Ponting escapes from ban after heated arguement with Umpires
After all speculations, Aussie fans will have a relief of comfort as Australian Skipper Ricky Ponting will be a part of final test match that will be played at Sydney Cricket Ground (SCG) on 3rd January.  The International Cricket Council (ICC)
has only decided to fine him 40 percent of match fee rather than ban him for his dreadful behaviour with Umpire Aleem Dar on day two at Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG).
Story begun when he passed on a not out decision against Kevin Pietersen to the TV umpire after only Bradd Haddin felt an edge while others players didn’t hear any noise. Ponting lost his temper when the Third Umpire sustained the decision made by field
umpire Aleem Dar.
Ponting started to discuss the issue heatedly with ice cool Aleem Dar and his colleague Tony Hill And argued for about one and half minute.
While replays and hot spots graphics detected no inside edge. Sincko meter also hold up the decision of the third umpire http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Marais-Erasmus-c74368.
But Ponting kept insisting there had been an edge. Peter Siddle also took part and begun a vigorous protest to Aleem Darr and claiming there had been a mark made on Hot spot when bowl passed through the blade of Peiterson. Even he was not bowling at either
ends. Jonathon Trott who was at non striking end also didn’t sense any noise.
On the other hand, England outclassed Aussies with the help of Jonathan Trott who made a splendid hundred in the fourth Test. They have a mega lead of 346 runs. Australian Captain must be worried after seeing another definite defeat in Ashes. He will be
the only Test captain of http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Australia-c746 who is going to lose three Ashes series.
