Cricket Update: County Championship Division Two- Chesney Hughes led Derbyshire to historical win
Four day match between Gloucestershire and Derbyshire was wrapped up in just two days with the later winning the match with 54 runs. Chesney Hughes blazed away with the bat as the visitors scrape one of the most astounding victories in the history of County Championship. In the bowling armoury of the visitors, Tim Groenewald was well supported by the quicks of the left-arm medium pacer Graham Watt to roll over Gloucestershire for only 70 in its second innings.
In the County Championship Division 2 match played at the County Ground, Bristol, Derbyshire made a remarkable comeback in their second innings after being bowled out for below fifty in the first innings to beat the hosts by 54 runs.
