Similarly, he expressed board’s point of view on removal of expulsion bar at Jagmohan Dalmiya. Manohar said that the board’s constitution has the provision under clause 32(6) that allows re-entry of an individual after a period of three
years. According to Manohar, Dalmiya had completed his three years expulsion period and had filed an application for his re-entry.
Manhohar clarified that board takes every decision on merit and maintains no grievances against any individual. Manohar confidently linked the chapter as an effort to unveil any misappropriation. Board doesn’t fight for ego and discourages
individual targeting based on malafide intentions. It was in this context that the expulsion notice has also been withdrawn against the former President BCCI, Manohar said.
