The Black caps have clinched the three-match Twenty20 cricket International series against Pakistan, by 39 runs in the second match at Seddon Park, Hamilton today.
Pakistan won the toss and invited New Zealand to bat first who built the target of 186 runs in the second Twenty20 match.
New Zealand in their batting scored 185-7 using all twenty overs at Seddon Park, while Pakistan finished at 146 for nine. New Zealand opener Jessy Ryder was dismissed on zero for one on the ball of Abdul Razzaq. Martin Guptill and James Franklin added 91
runs for the second-wicket in 11 overs.
Guptill scored 44 runs using 27 balls including three sixes and thee fours then was caught out by Shahid Afridi on the ball of Saeed Ajmal, while Franklin scored 40 from 43 balls and was out on the ball of Shahid Afridi.
After that, Syris added 34 runs from 14 balls, Tylor made 30 from 21 balls and McGlashan 26 from 10 balls, McCullum scored one for three balls while http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Mills-c76321 added Zero for wasting single ball. McCllum was awarded with man-of –the-match for taking four wickets
for 16.
Bowling side of Pakistan includes Razzaq, Shoaib Akhtar, Umar Gul, Riaz, Shahid Afridi and Saeed Ajmal. http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Razzaq-c84421 bowled two overs for one wicket and faced 12 runs while Saeed Ajmal took two wickets in the final over and completed his figure of three bearing
35 runs. Shoiab Akhtar bowled four overs and got one wicket facing 42 runs. Umar Gul bowling form has not been appreciable as he took no wicket in three overs and faced 47 runs. Skipper Shahid Afridi also took one wicket in four overs bearing 22 runs.
Pakistan took a good batting start as it remained ahead of the required run rate through the first six overs. Opener Mohammad Hafiz was the top scorer from Pakistan’s side as he added 46 runs in 30 balls including four fours and two sixes and was run out
by Guptills but his team mates could hardly put up appreciable runs.

side for 32 balls which included one six and was out by giving a catch in the hands of McCullum on the Ball of Southee. Riaz added 18 runs for Pakistan on 13 balls and was sent back on the ball of Southee.
Saeed Ajmal and Shoaib Akhtar remained not out at the completion of 20-overs, the latter added 5 runs in three balls including one four.
The batting line of New Zealand included Franklin, Mills, Southee, Butler, Woodcock, and McCullum. The latter four bowlers bowled four overs each while Frankilin bowled one and Mills three. Franklin and the Woodcock were the bowlers who were unable to take
any wicket.
The final Twenty20 match will be played in Christchurch on Thursday to be followed by two Tests and six One-days.
