Cricket Update: Pakistani suspended Bowler Aamer makes an apology for breaking ICC rule
Young fast bowler Mohammad Aamer has apologized to the Pakistan Cricket board for violating his ICC- imposed suspension by bowling five overs in a club match on 24 January 2011. He was suspended by ICC along with his two team mates Mohammad Asif and then
skipper Salman Butt after a second rated English Tabloid “the news of the world “alleged them of involving in spot fixing on the tour of England.
International Cricket Council took the notice of the matter and formed an independent tribunal headed by Michael Beloff to probe in to the matter. Aamer along with his other suspended team mates has appeared before the tribunal. All the procedures of tribunal
have come to an end, lawyers also have closed their urging, and decision will be announced on 5 February 2011.
ICC has also announced that trio is allowed to play World Cup if they get themselves cleared from the Tribunal.
