Cricket Update: Rana has signed a county deal again with Sussex.
Pakistan seamer Rana Naveed-ul-Hassan has resigned a county deal with Sussex for the half of the 2011 county season.  He played a key role in the title winning seasons of 2006 and 2007. He had to return before the start of last season due to his commitments
for his country.
http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Mark-Robinson-c74734, Sussex cricket manager, said: "We're delighted that Rana is returning this summer as he was like a breath of fresh air when he was with us last year.
28 year old Pakistan all-rounder has played 74 one day internationals and got 110 wickets with the average of 29.28. First, he was included in the Pakistan side as a bowler after the debacle of 2003 World Cup in which Pakistan was eliminated from the first
round and many players were dropped. But he also gave some good performances with the bat as well. He made his first international appearance against http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Sri-Lanka-c758 in an ODI at Shahrjah. However, after 2005 and 2007 his form had gradually went down. So, he was
dropped from the national team several times. He is still searching for a place in the national side of Pakistan. He played his last game against Australia at Perth on 31 January 2010.
Rana has also not been included in the 15-member world cup squad of Pakistan that will be starting from 19 February 2011 in Sub-Continent. Though, he was included in to the 30-man preliminary squad initially.
He has played for the Pakistan, Sheikhupura Cricket Association, http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Pakistan-Customs-c830,
Right now, he is playing Big Bash Twenty20 tournament in http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Tasmania-c854. 32 years old pace bowler has also played the controversial Indian Cricket League from Lahore Badshah without the permission of Pakistan Cricket Board. Because of that he had
to face a ban. Its not easy to say when he will play international cricket once again, but one should not deny his talent and experience.
