Cricket Update: The International cricket council (ICC) comes hard on Pakistan Cricket Board
The top brass International Cricket Council (ICC) chiefs have proposed several measures for Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) which PCB needs to implement within thirty days, otherwise they will have to face sanctions and consequences could be even more severe.
ICC has given a span of one month to Pakistan cricket bosses to solve their internal disputes as soon as possible because the image of game has already been tarnished badly by the spot-fixing scandal hit players of Pakistan which includes Salman Butt, Mohammad
Asif and Mohammad Amir.
The integrity of the game has been badly hurt by the recent happenings and allegations that have at last forced ICC to step in and scream that enough is enough. The International Cricket Council has emphasized that the cricket affairs should be strictly
and fairly dealt in order get rid of corruption from the game keeping an eagle eye on each and every single person who is directly or indirectly related to PCB and Pakistan cricket team.
The ICC has further ordered http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Pakistan-c755 cricket board to educate their present and upcoming players about corruption in the game, and how to refrain from it. The cricket governing body has also directed PCB to think before they give any statements, may it be
players or Chairman http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Ijaz-Butt-c64128. This directive looks more for the PCB’s chairman rather than for the players, as his allegations of the England cricket team didn’t go down well with the International cricket circle.
The Pakistan Cricket Board has been given the task of getting the rules implemented within the given time frame by the ICC. If players or any other concerned individual fails to control their actions and words, the PCB will penalize them severely. This surely
means that the spot light has shifted from Pakistan’s players towards Pakistan cricket board’s management. Looking into the matter it seems as if ICC smells the alleged involvement of officials of PCB as well in the spot fixing scandal.
The matter now needs to maintain a zero tolerance policy, if they are to save their blushes and integrity of cricket in the world. They will have to stand up to stop all the illegal activities which are linking players of Pakistan with corruption, Doping
or ball tampering.
Meanwhile, Pakistan and England cricket team were cleared from match fixing allegations but only for the third One day International allegations which means that Pakistan’s tainted trio will be under observation as they have not been cleared by the International
Cricket Council.
Pakistan One day and T20 skipper http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Shahid-Afridi-c2482 has welcomed the news admitting that it is a relief to hear that they certainly are not cheats, as the ICC announcement confirmed this. However, he was defending his players not the tainted trio, as the two
cannot be mixed because those three sold the national pride and integrity and can never be forgiven for their sins by Pakistan’s fans.
Shahid Afridi, who is currently leading Karachi Dolphins in domestic T20 Faisal cup, said that he feels so relieved that he wants to celebrate with his team mates, as they were under a lot of pressure and scrutiny which was mentally tiring. He further said
there could not have been greater news for the squad, as they are preparing for an upcoming series against http://www.senore.com/Cricket/South-Africa-c757 and the recent clearance must have taken a lot of weight from the player’s shoulders.
