Cricket Update: Tim Nielson defends http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Clarke-c51120 and Hughes after drinking allegations
Australian Coach, Tim Nielson has defended Michael Clarke and Phil Hughes after these players were involved in drinking allegations. The Ashes series is all over now and with it, the hopes of many cricket fans who wanted to see Ricky Ponting winning his
last Ashes series as the Captain of the Australian side.
The Ashes loss has left a lot of scars on the Australian players and most of them have taken this “desperation” and “depression” to a new level. Ashes have a huge impact on the lives of many Australian cricketers and most of them would be willing to give
their right hand to win this series in their cricketing careers.
The desperation level of the Aussie cricketers was easily visible during the Ashes series, when Ponting was involved in heated debate with umpire Aleem Dar over some decision. Then there was another incident in the series when Matt prior and Peter Siddle
were seen exchanging some nasty words in the Perth Test Match. Loosing such series could be quite troublesome for a team and this is something which they could take straight to their heart.
Recently, there were media reports that Michael Clarke and Phil Hughes were found drinking one night before their humiliating Ashes series defeat at Melbourne Cricket ground.  Tim Nielson is one individual who has come forward in support of his players and
has made their actions look a bit soft in front of the over critical media.
Tim Nielson was of the view that these two players have been playing a lot of cricket and most of the times they have been playing cricket away from their home. He further said that he can assure one thing that Clarke and Hughes were not feeling great on
the third night of the Test Match because the team was under a lot of pressure and they were heading into the fourth day with the Ashes series almost lost.
It is never a good thing for some senior players of a team to be spotted drinking in a bar when their side is about to lose the series. It doesn’t set a good image on the minds of the masses as they can infer that the players are not so serious about the
game and they are taking this “mega loss” as just another loss.
Tim Nielson further said that both Clarke and Hughes posed for photographs and also signed autographs for their fans. There were also reports that a local woman said that she shared Vodka with Phil Hughes and Hughes suggested that he would not be batting
on the fourth day and http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Australia-c746 also doesn’t have any chance of winning on the fourth day of the Test Match.
