Cricket Victoria name its contract list for 2011-12 season
Victoria have finalized their revamp squad for the next southern hemisphere summer after announcing their contract list for the 2011-12 season.
http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Bryce-McGain-c1202 failed to get their contracts renewed with the state. Though the axing did not come as a major surprise for the Bushrangers fans as all the three players were above 35.
Nannes, who has played 23 first-class matches picking up 93 wickets, has already announced retirement from the four-day cricket in order to focus on the Twenty20 format of the game. Whilst Harwood has not appeared in the Sheffield
Shield since 2009, McGain played only one first-class game for Bushrangers last season and few one-day matches. Both Harwood and McGain would also be looking forward to the shortest format of the game at the ages of 37 and 39 years respectively.
The other player, who was part of Victoria squad last season but would not be there this time around, is fast bowler http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Damien-Wright-c1304. Wright has already announced retirement from the first class cricket, however, he will be there to
coach the Victorian bowlers.

Five of the players in the Victoria contract list, who are also on the Cricket http://www.senore.com/Cricket/PM-Siddle-c2197 and Cameron White.
Cricket Victoria's general manager, http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Shaun-Francis-Graf-c89839 said that they have picked a blend of youth and experience and hoped the side would perform well.
"We are confident we have the right blend of senior players and up-and-coming talent to keep us at the forefront of domestic cricket,” said Graf.
